Grey & Gentle keeps data collection to a minimum, and we don't sell your personal information. Here's what we collect and why.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used in aggregate — which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and which links get clicked. This helps us decide what to write next. Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect information such as your approximate location, device, and browsing on this site; it's governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We do not use this data to identify you personally.

Affiliate links

When you click a product link, it passes through a redirect on our domain and on to the retailer (usually Amazon) with an affiliate tag. The retailer may set its own cookies to credit a purchase; that activity is governed by the retailer's privacy policy, not ours. See our affiliate disclosure for how this works.

Contact form

If you use our contact form or email us, we receive the information you send — your name, email address, and message — so we can reply. We use it only to respond to you and to fix errors you report. We don't add you to a marketing list, and we don't share it with third parties except the email infrastructure that delivers the message to us.

Cookies

The cookies on this site are principally analytics cookies (above) and any set by the retailer when you follow an affiliate link. You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings at any time.

Data we don't collect or sell

We don't run accounts, we don't require you to register, and we don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
