Black Friday & Cyber Monday dog gear deals 2026 — the honest version

Black Friday is 27 November 2026 and Cyber Monday is 30 November. In 2025, Amazon's own event ran far longer than the day — its Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday deals started 20 November and ran through 1 December — and we expect a similar shape this year, though Amazon had not announced 2026 dates at the time of writing. When deals on the gear we cover go live, they will be posted on this page, dated, with the price coming from Amazon's own data rather than from us.

Two promises. First, nothing on this page is a prediction dressed as a fact: where we say what discounted last year, we cite who reported it, and where we do not know, we say so. Second, every price on this page comes from the same live data layer as the rest of the site — checked daily against Amazon's API and removed if it is more than two days old. We would rather show you nothing than a stale "deal."

What historically discounts in this category — and what rarely does

We went looking for what actually happened last year rather than what deal sites promise. The clearest single record we found is Whole Dog Journal's 2025 Black Friday roundup, which listed specific dog products with their sale and regular prices. Read for our category — senior comfort and mobility gear — it tells a consistent story.

Beds: the one thing that reliably discounts

Beds were the only comfort category with real depth in that roundup. It listed the Bedsure Orthopedic Dog Bed at 36% off at Chewy, a Bedsure orthopedic bolster sofa bed at 37% off, a FurHaven lounger at 26% off, and a Big Barker 7-inch headrest orthopedic bed at 39% off at Chewy — and noted Chewy was advertising "up to 40% off" dog beds during the week. The Bedsure and Big Barker on that list are two of the beds we rank. Big Barker's own site, separately, runs an "End of Year Savings" collection with holiday-delivery messaging rather than a named Black Friday event. Those are 2025 figures from one outlet, not a guarantee for 2026 — but if any one product class on this site is worth waiting for, it is a bed.

Small consumables and tools: modest, frequent cuts

The same roundup listed a Native Pet omega-3 fish oil at 20% off, the Dremel 7350-PET nail grinder at 15% off, and a Natural Dog Company paw balm at 15% off — all products we recommend, all at the modest end. That matches what our own price data shows through the year: small items move by a few dollars often, rather than by a lot once.

Ramps, stairs, harnesses, slings, wheelchairs, toe grips, traction socks: rarely

None of these appeared in that roundup at all. That is an absence, not proof — one outlet's list is not the whole market — but it is consistent with how these products are sold. Most are made by small specialist brands (Walkin' Pets, GingerLead, Dr. Buzby's) whose promotions run on their own sites and on their own calendar, and PetSafe, the biggest name in ramps and stairs, rotates deals on its own store year-round — its CozyUp Bed Ramp was on its deals page when we checked in September, with no holiday attached. If you are waiting for Black Friday to buy a ramp or a sling, you may be waiting for a sale that does not come, while the dog keeps jumping.

Joint supplements: not a gift, and not a deals decision

Supplements do show up in seasonal sales, but whether a dog should be on one is a veterinary decision. If your vet has already recommended one, a subscribe-and-save or a multi-pack usually beats waiting for a holiday.

Buy now or wait for November? By product class

The question is not "will it be cheaper?" but "what does waiting cost the dog?" A senior dog that is slipping, jumping down onto sore joints or sleeping on flattened fill pays for every week of delay. Here is how we would call it.

How to tell a real deal from a list-price trick

A "was" price is only as honest as the list price behind it, and list prices on marketplace listings can be generous. Three checks that take a minute: look at whether the product has been near its list price recently rather than perpetually "on sale"; compare the same model across Chewy and Amazon, since the 2025 bed deals were often retailer-specific; and check that the deal is on the size you need — a headline discount is often on the small size only. Our live table above shows Amazon's reported list price and current price side by side for exactly this reason, and we label the percentage as Amazon's framing, not our verdict.
